Carrie, a small-town girl from the Virginia-North Carolina border, has always been surrounded by a family atmosphere, where hard work and creativity go hand in hand. From a young age, she fell in love with fashion, vibrant colors, and experimenting with hair—rocking every shade of the rainbow and every haircut imaginable, from long flowing locks to daring pixie cuts. After high school, Carrie dove straight into her professional career, apprenticing under her uncle at Salon Beyond Basics, where she honed her skills in hair restoration, business styles, professional aesthetics, and bridal hair and makeup coordination.
Today, Carrie brings her passion for fashion, bold colors, and polished looks to her salon, blending a touch of southern charm with a focus on making clients feel comfortable and valued.
